Aquarium Advice Freak
Santa came early this year. Yesterday I was watching my community tank and I saw a tiny flash! I said to myself what the heck was that. Then I spotted a fry hanging on a Lysimachia top. I had two fat Platy females in that tank so it took a little while to figure out which one was birthing. Later I saw a baby pop out tail first and instinctively dart away into some nearby Mayaca. I have had Platy pairs a few different times the last few years, but never have I witnessed any offspring. I'm really happy to have eight new one day olds swimming around my 10 gallon fry tank!
