Which fish?

Well, I went to the fish store last night. I got a pair of gold gouramis and a pair of paradise fish. I also got some Anacharis plants. The fish love the tank and are all getting along (ahem) swimmingly.

I'd keep an eye on the pairs. Both are notoriously unkind to their own species. I even had to separate two Pearl Gouramis, which are supposedly some of the more peaceful of the Gouramis.

So noted. So far, they seem to be getting along with each other just fine.

I did notice that the two paradise fish did a very funny "dance" with each other. They were side-to-side, head-to-tail, and one was using its side fin to brush the other, who seemed to be "shivering" as if he/she was being tickled.
