I plan on attempting to breed either of these fish. Both are $15 for a pair and have similar requirements / attitudes

Option 1 - Red Lyretail Killifish (Aphyosemion australe)

Option 2 - Peacock Gudgeon (Tateurndina Ocellicauda)

Gotcha. The Peacocks are a nice fish, but they are so small that it is really hard to see the coloration on them. I'm betting that picture was taken with a macro lens.

I voted for A. australe because IMO they are probably going to be a lot easier to breed. Feeding them should be much easier as well. My gudgeons were always picky eaters.
