white mold

I did a partial water change on my ten gallon freshwater and noticed some white mold on the top of the black filter and a little on the rim of the tank. im guessing this isn't that bad? I just never had this happen before and ive had this tank about a year and a half. any thoughts?

It may.be salt or hard water.stains are you sure its mold?

Oh yeah, its silky like spiders web and pure white! Not a lot if it, just a little on the top of the black thing in the pump in front of the filter and one spot on the rim of the tank. There is a lot of white salt stains too but this was different.
