Looks like snail eggs. Do you have a nerite snail in your tank?

I have two red spotted snails i that i only got the other day

Should I remove them? I just read that they wont hatch as they need brackish water and they become difficult to remove as they harden

Nerite eggs on the glass are easily removed by an algae magnet. If left alone over time they will dissolve. I remove them from my glass but usually leave the rest to dissolve on their own. Some people go nuts when they lay eggs but I figure it's a small price to pay for the services they provide.
