You must be local, Northern Colorado, I'm not shipping these guys. PM me if you are truly interested in giving these two the good home they deserve and we will work out a pick up time. Plants would make a nice trade but are not necessary, we are giving them up for free.

We have two crayfish, about 3" in length. Unfortunately they are *very*
destructive of the live plants, so we need to find a new home for them.

Things you need to know about keeping them...
- These are not the local variety, I do not believe they would survive
outdoors through the Winter.
- They have two smaller pincers, rather than one small and one large.
- These are a reddish color, but sometimes take on a bluish color when
molting.
- They WILL try to catch and eat smaller fish. Our tank has 4" and
larger fish, so even when the crayfish grab someone, it doesn't hurt them.
- They require a lot of space to roam, so I would recommend a minimum of
55 gallons for them (we currently have them in a 120 gallon tank)
- As stated above, they will destroy any live plants you have. They
should only be kept with plants that grow extremely fast (but not
recommended) , or in a tank that has no plants or plastic plants.
- Feeding is easy, they will eat algae wafers and krill. If you keep
them with larger fish that eat live feeders, the crayfish will clean up
the dead feeders that sink to the bottom (which is why we got them to
begin with).
- They enjoy hiding under piles of rocks, and climbing up on logs.
- They are 100% underwater, so there is no need to provide space for
them to climb out like fiddler crabs. (And make sure they cannot climb
out, because like fish, they won't last long if they get out of your tank.)

We have really enjoyed having them in our tank. It's great fun to watch
them marching around and digging in the sand, but they've managed to
chop down $100 worth of plants in just a few weeks, and our fish need
the plants for hiding in.
