I've had one mystery snail for a while and just added one Japanese trapdoor to the tank. After researching, I thought that they would not bear any viable young because mysteries lay eggs and trapdoors have live births. I have now found about 10 baby snails (which I am pretty sure are the trapdoor because I've never seen eggs), and I've also seen both of the adult snails attempting to mate with each other. Do I have to be worried about continuing baby snails since they are mating? or are the baby's just from leftover trapdoor sperm?
