That is a nice set up! What great looking shrimp! I can't get over those Rilis. You should join the group shrimp-keepers. There's an area where you can post pics and see a couple other pics.

Your tank looks good. The algae isn't too bad. You can spot treat it with some Excel. Thanks for the compliment on my tank. I just did a minor rescape and moved some plants around. I also did a major trim and retied the Flame Moss.. once things grow in a bit, it should be looking the way I want it.

There's no copper in Excel. Excel is a liquid carbon that just so happens to also be an algaecide. Just don't dose too much as it would negatively impact the livestock.

Here's a pic I just snapped a few minutes ago. I re-arranged and added a DW and some plants. I like this look a little better than before. Hopefully by the end of the week, it'll also be home to 10 TigerShrimp.

Anyway, care to share some pics of your shrimp tank(s)?
Merged the two threads as requested. Will post up my own pictures in a bit.

That's a sweet looking edge! Are you using any additional lighting? Is it the gen 2 edge with LED? I have an old edge and I'm looking to upgrade the lighting. Might get the LED arm for the edge 12g to put in my 6g.

@Tiger Terror - Are those ebay LED's blue?

@Redsea - Thanks for the compliment! So what are you thinking of getting for the "shrimp tank?" And... how's your 20L coming along? You get the Finnex fixture?

Just curious.. Why did you get blue? Isn't that better suited for marine?
