Snails without a shell???

So i was pulling the slate out of on of my discus pairs tanks today. And as i was pulling it out i noticed, 3 tiny tiny tiny things on the bottom of it. As best as i can tell they looked like baby snails without shells. Any thoughts or idears as to this.

heres a few pics. its pouring outside, so its tough t get a clear shot. dont them in the house as i have no clue what they are.





 
Looks like leeches to me. Note the contacted "fat" shape then the extended shape in the one in the top left.
I used to find them in a koi/goldfish pond I had. Not all leeches are blood feeders. Some are omnivorous.

I kind of thought this as well. Thanks fresh.... Any idea how to deal with them. Im not sure how on earth they got in there... That tank has been running for years now without a problem.
