What is wrong with my snail?

I lost this little guy in tank and thought it died. Found him at the bottom near substrate attached to wall of tank under driftwood. I thought it got trapped somehow and I carefully took him from that place and put on front. He again went like down under at a different new place. He is alive and sticking himself there for over 24 hours. No movement at all. Water temperature is 23.5 c (74.3f) Don't understand this behaviour. Any ideas?

Are any of your water parameters off? I had a couple horned nirite snails do that for a week. I moved them from one tank to another and the TDS was different. But they bounced right back.

Did anything change in the recent time? Just as water, food amount, or new things?

Sometime snails can be really weird (my snails) as long as they aren't off the glass and completely turned over, they should be fine.

If it doesn't move for 2 or 3 days I'd be concerned.
