Oh, it's a biocube. Yeah that might be your best bet to keeping the heat down temp, but it will just go up again once you close the lid.

What kind of lighting is that?

You also adjust the power head up towards the surface create some turbulent water on top.. should help bring the colder water from top from fan to the bottom.

That should also create some higher O2 levels which decrease with higher temps.
