base or live rocks«?

Hi guys, its now too late to make a choice cuz i already have plenty of fiji live rocks in my tank but i was wondering wut is the big difference between base and live rocks«?

will bacteria make base rocks live rock??<

base rock could be dead live rock or dead coral or cheap live rock, the bacteria from your live rock will turn base rock live.

I always like to put the cheaper base rock on the bottom and some good Live Rock on top. In a few months the base rocks get coraline algea and you can hardly tell the difference. You can save a lot of money doing that. Just make sure the live rocks you get are good quality.
