I am wanting to start my first reef tank. What are
your thoughts on these oceanic biocubes? What would be the best way to go?
Thanks all!

My furst set up was a biocube and u liked it. Its a challenge to keep the nitrates down, the lights arent great and the fans die but other than that it eas cool. You can get a couple of small fish and some soft coral in it...

It really depends alot on what you want in the tank. Biocubes come with a lot of limitations as far as what you can do without really modding the crap out of it, it which case you would probably been better off with a standard tank to begin with.

So what do you plan on keeping in the tank and what size tank?

I'm new to saltwater. My friend has a saltwater tank and I fell in love. I'm starting from ground up and would love any feedback. I have a 29 gallon I can start with.

Thats a good starter tank if you already have it. You could get some coral and a few fish. Youtube biocube reefs to see what others have done...
