I noticed today my clown fish have dug a hole in the sand. Is this a sign they are thinking about laying eggs?
 
Do you have a significantly larger female? In my case, sometimes they just like to dig. Clowns will typically adhere their eggs to surfaces
 
Ya one is larger then the other.
