Sorry for the length in advance. In November of last year my 72 bowfront sprang a major leak and I had to get out of the hobby for a little while. In January I started my biocube back up and have a pair of clowns, niger, and angle in there for the moment. I know angel and niger going to out grow the cube but this thread is the start up of a new 120 aqueon glass aquarium where they will call home. It going to be a slow process but have made some good strites to getting it started. I had some left over equipment that I saved and will be reusing. My wonderful wife saw how much I missed having an aquarium so has purchased the tank as a gift for me. She also made a deal with lfs that i had sold all of the fish and coral too for the return of my zebra eel that fortunately they still have for free. Had the tank by itself for about a month until yesterday when custom stand was completed.

Looks very nice, I am following. Hopefully I will pick up some tips on my 90 gallon aqueon I am starting this month.

Yeah I guess cannot complain too much about her. Lol. Just a small update. Well got my brute can for water storage, egg crate for bottom of tank, and a tarp for the bottom of the stand for sump to sit in today. The tarp was a request from the wife after her seeing it done in a youtube video. Should hopefully have sump and plumbing by end of month.

In beginning will be fowlr, but eventually a mixed reef. I really like triggers so will probably be semi aggressive.

Got sump and most of plumbing done. Waiting on pump and loc-line for overflows. Sump is a eshopps r-300. Think I'm going to go with a triton 5 for the pump.

Looks nice, you are ahead of me. I'm trying to figure out what the plumbing should look like in the overflows, do you know what you are doing there yet?

Yeah got it in place but didn't glue any of it. My drain holes in tank are 1 in so I used fittings to increase the pipe size to 1 1/2. Return line just I in up to elbow that will connect to lock-line. Still waiting on lock-line to get here. I'll see if I can pull one and take pic.

Here's a pic of drain line. I drilled hole in top but not sure if large enough. I basically used the design of the aqueon overflows but put it together myself.

Got pump today and finished plumbing. Added freshwater to clean everything and refilled with treated saltwater once was empty.

Thanks. Just finished adding sand. Once it clears hope to add rock. I'll post more pics once have rock in. I'll need some suggestions on aquascape.

Not mine, but I love it. He used acrylic rods and drilled his rock.
