Is it safe?

Ok so I am lazy when it comes to water changes. Not that I won't do it but trying to find an easier way to do it. So I figured out that My syphine hose is long enough to reach out of my door and in to the garden I tried it and it works! I also thought about it and I can get the garden hose in here too! So here is the question is it safe to add the prime straight to the tank and then add the water straight to the tank using the hose? Or do I still have to carry buckets?

its safe, though you will have to treat for the whole tank volume instead of just the bucket volume

Sweet!!!!! I would rather treat the whole tank with the prime than to have to carry bucket that I slosh all over the floor. It will be so much cleaner doing it this way!
