Hi, I’m new to aquarium forum. My name is Iryna.
I have cycled 20 gallon tank with two mollies, they doing very good. I want to add new fish some Cory fish and neons. I have very hard water ph 8, KH 143ppm an GH 232ppm, Ammonia and Nitrites 0. I know neons prefer much softer water. Do I have to try to adjust my Ph an Gh Before adding new fish or neons and Cory will get used to it? I read somewhere that better keep stable water parameters and work with what you have than try to do adjustments and results will be unstable Ph that is not good for fish. Please any advice?
Thank you

I'd get some R/O or distilled water to lower the pH temporarily to 7, get your neons and then slowly let the pH go back up by adding tap water and less and less R/O water. Don't use chemicals to try to adjust the water. (By the way, it is always pH, not PH or ph.)

I always want to have neon tetras.
Thank you :)
I will do that.
