hi everyone!

im thinking of starting up a 15 gallon tropical tank. i already know about cycling (i have a goldfish tank already) but im not sure about stocking. right now i have a female betta in her own 1g tank and i would love if she could be the center piece fish (if shes compatible) so i would like to stock my tank with betta fish compatible tankmates just incase i do.

just incase everyone needs to know for my tank specs: aqueon 15 gal column tank with an aqueon quietflow 10 power filter, i have lighting, a heater (its one that i got in my 29g kit....) and a air pump (do i need one for tropical fish?)

These are a few of the kinds of fish/animals that i want to put in. if i could get some feedback on whether they would work, how many of each, and how do i slowly add them to the tank.

1. female betta (or another centerpiece fish)
2. snails
3. cory catfish
4. not sure what kinds of tropical fish will go well, like specific breeds i mean. i know no colorful fish and no fin nipping.

any help would be appreciated! ;D

Try out aqadvisor for stock help. I have neon tetras with my betta
