Clown fish turning black

My orange clown fish is starting to darken in color... It is ratting and swimming fine. Does this happen?

I would guess false.. Well it is very much a clown fish I'd say he was a tank raised clown.. True vs false is like coding in binary 1 being yes 0 being not clown fish.

It use to be bright orange

How old is the lil bugger? And IMO it looks like it may be a true percula clown. They get a thicker and darker black stripe.

It looks healthy as far as I can see. Any parameter issues? Eating ok?

We got him two weeks ago.. Not sure on age. Everything is normal in the tank none are sick. It eats like a piggy.
