I'm sorry but I can't see much in those photos. Can you get a close up pic of the fish? Which one are you concerned about?

Look at the first photo, fish on top, tail. I'll try to get a better pic.

Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0, Ph 7.6. This is happening with my American Flag fish, which were just purchased 6 days ago. All other fish are fine.

I am having trouble finding my digital camera - darn it!!!

Good clean water and plenty of water changes are the best cure.

Amen!

Fin rot, if that's what your fish has, is usually caused by water parameters or sometimes disease such as columnaris. Is this fish exhibiting any other symptoms?

Did you quarantine the new fish prior to adding them to the main tank?

Could not quarantine. I only have one tank. Fish behavior is normal so far. Water is pristine. I am changing at least 15% per day now.

Guess I'll just keep doing daily water changes.

To me, that looks like a fish that had possibly had a problem with the tail previously and now it's growing back.

Definitely clean water is the way to go. (y)

Thank you for your help. I am changing water 15% daily now for awhile.
