Opaline Gourami appears to have a mucus build up where the gill flaps meet the body.Also has very red lips and a dark red/purple color in the gills.Color in the body has faded alot.breathing is labored.seems to hang out at top of tank.
Ammonia at 0 ppm,nitrite at 0 ppm, nitrate between 30 and 40 ppm,Ph at 7.8.
55gal tank established for several months.

did a 25% water change yesturday. i do weekly water changes of 25%.recently added 3 gold gourami....wondering if they introduced this? one of the golds has little white spots on tail and anal fins....is this ick? Any help would be great.
i use a normal dosing of aquarium salt with setup and each water change.
