hi, i just noticed my serpae tetras have some fungus like stuff growing on the tops of their heads... no tail rot, and they are acting normally. No other manisfestations in any other fish except for about 4-5 of the serpaes. It is whitish and fuzzy looking in appearance. I had some Tank Buddies fungus clear tabs so i dropped the right amount in for a 55 gallon and now of course my tank looks bluegreen 
But hopefully it will clear up the problem. I also added Melafix when i added some new fish but i noticed the fungus at the same time i added the fish, so i don't htink they were the cause...
Oh btw, it was 4 baby clown loaches i got.. i know i know, they get big, im planning on buying a BIG Tank when i graduate from nursing school next summer and they grow slow.. these are babies, only about 1"
