I have three tiger barbs, one of which has quite obviously gotten some sort of infection. He has, what looks to be, open sores, red inflamed gills, cloudy eyes, and one slightly inflamed eye. His behavior seems normal. I did notice some paleness before the infection. I'm halfway through the treatment for bacterial infections, and he hasn't seemed to improve. Is it more of threat to the other fish continue to leave him in the tank and medicate? (I do not have a quarentine tank). Not sure what to do here...

Did you remove the activated charcoal from your filter? Also I believe your fish has both bacterial and fungal infections. What are you using for medication?

It looks in terrible condition, but I, personally, would just let it live its last few hours, days, minutes, etc.

This is the medication I am using. Also, my filter doesn't use activated charcoal/carbon. I'm also concerned about how his illness will affect the rest of the healthy fish and or water quality.
