Please help, I just got 2 oscars. One is laying at the bottom of the tank, and when he tries to swim, he swims upside down or sideways. My other fish is staying right by his side, they're buds. I put the healthy one in another place for now, but I'm so sad. What's wrong? Please help me. Thank you

Anything wrong with its body...like are all the fins there?

Has it got red streaks around its gills?

Well, you have 2 choices really. Best bet is to return the fish and get a new one. Oscars do lay on the bottom and also swim sideways sometimes. But for the most part swim upright.

As far as the other choice, I would need some info about your tank.
Size?
How long has it been setup?
What else is in the tank?

Also when did this start happening, day you got him home or a few days later?
