sick oto?

Does the skin of this oto look normal to you? Maybe I've just never seen it at that angle or in the that light, but his skin looks like it has ridges or something, not smooth. From a side view with a magnifying glass, it looks normal, not like dropsy or scales sticking up. Any thoughts?

He looks a little bloated but not much. I see what you are saying though, his scales look like they are about to raise up. Keep a close eye on him. Is he acting the same otherwise?

Acting perfectly normal. Water parameters are good. I have been feeding them more wafers lately...maybe they ate too much?

Otos can be quite piggy, that may be just all it is.
