Something on platy's head

Hello,

He has something on his head since long time ago (at least 1y), now it's worse.
Eat, swim - good.

On photos things look worst, but anyway, it must be something...

Any help?

I'm no expert but perhaps it is just a growth deformity or maybe a tumor?
If he seems happy I guess it doesn't bother him.
I had a betta that had a tumor on his side and he swam and ate like there was nothing wrong.
Hopefully someone wiser than me will come and offer more advice
