Two days ago I noticed one of my Angels had a swollen belly - just the belly, not the eyes or scales. It’s now swimming vertically and panting at the top of the tank. It’s not eating, and swims away almost normally when my Blood Parrot swims close. Not being bullied by any other fish.
I don’t think it’s dropsy, but at a complete loss for how to help it!
Tank:
55gal, two Fluval 305 canisters, two air stones, planted with live plants and driftwood, heated at 80 degrees. I have two Angels, one Blood Parrot, a few Platy fish and some nerite snails. All other fish are happy and normal. The tank has been running for just over 4 years - my Angels and BPC are the original fish.
