What is this?

I recently added some platys and 2 different plecos to my fish tank. In the last few days I have noticed weird debris on top of the sand. I vacuumed it off Sunday and it is worse tonight. Does anyone know what it is?

Looks like poop to me but I'm not positive I have plattys in my community tank and they poop alot especially if they are over fed

That’s what I thought but I have never seen poop in my tank that looked like that. I have some banjo catfish that I put algae tablets in for sometimes. I know the patty’s eat on that so that’s probably what is going on. Thanks for your response.
