Recently there is one single white dot creeping out of the scale of my male dwarf gourami. The dot seems to get larger. The tank is a heavily planted, well established 4 months old 20 gallon. Please help me diagnose this illness and thanks for any tips on treatment.
The tank is overstocked with 16 neon tetras, 5 penguin tetras, 5 black neon tetras, 2 albino cory cats, 2 bamboo shrimp, 1 albino bristlenose pleco, 1 dwarf gourami, 1 common platy. The gourami is as old as the tank.
Water quality is excellent at 0 ppm Ammonia, 0 ppm Nitrite and 5 ppm Nitrate. Parameters: pH 6.8-7.0, TDS 795-815ppm, temp 27C.
Sincerely, you fellow aquarist.
