Hi all,

Have just noticed one of my zebra danios is swimming sideways and hiding in plants.
Have tested the water and ammonia and nitrate all zero.
I'm thinking this is swim bladder disease so have fed some peas.
All the others seem fine but I don't know if I should do anything else.

Thanks all

Ammonia nitrites and nitrates are all zero?

That means either a) you did the test wrong, because there should be at least some nitrates in there unless your b) heavily planted, or you have c)not cycled your tank yet.

Ah okay. If nitrates are 40 it's possible you have a super-sensitive danio on you hands and 40-80 nitrates is basically the warning zone because that's usually where it gets toxic to fish. Do some PWC over the course of the day to lower them.

Will try but nitrates are pretty high in water
Have had her for 3 months and she's always been fine so it's all a bit weird
