Fish ID please

A friend of mine sent me this pic of a fish they caught and wanted me to ID it. I've seen it before, but can't think of the name of it.

That is a Remora they are usually found with larger fish like sharks, whales and some rays. They are sucker fish.

I actually saw one of those in a LFS a couple months ago

An LFS near me had one as well...I can't imagine why anyone would want that in their tank. Especially since they can get rather large. 5' long or so. I worked on a charter boat in Savannah, GA for a while and some of our charters would try and catch them. They never understood why the captain and I got so mad about that. Well they did after we got them on the boat. They bleed worse then a hog.

Did they have you fillet them to take home and eat? My guess is yes... I've been on deep sea charter boats and seen the stuff people keep. Those didn't count for jackpot did they?

I didn't like touching the nasty things. They are gross fish.
