Hitchhiker ID

Hey guys just set up my nano a couple of days ago, and after I put the live rock in 2 days after, this guy appeared, what is he? Any ideas? Is he aiptasia? Click image for larger version

No, aiptasia is an anemone. That appears to be a hydroid.

What's a hydroid? And will they kill zoas?

Most likely those will fade away, but you can simply siphon it out. They do sting things are are awful when colonial hydroidds.
