Indifferent. I depends on who you talk to. I know people remove them cause they heard they munch on corals and other people with very mature tanks say they are part of the clean up crew. If you have tons of them remove some. If you know anyone with a harlequin shrimp tell them to come pick em out of your tank

No, asterina starfish. Harmless guys. Come and go without issues normally. Some report coral munching...some have theorized something regarding color or this or that...but it is very uncommon for anything to ever come out of this and are normally model inhabitants.
