Red sprouts and something fuzzy

Ok I just picked up my aquarium and there is something growing on my rock. The first thing is something that look like red spouts. The second thing is something that is red and fuzzy. It looks like sponge I can't tell that it is moving but it is attached to the rock. Sorry I don't have a digital camera to post pictures. Any suggestions on what this is?

Probably a sponge IMO. They come in all different shapes, sizes, colors, forms, etc.
