So what are these?

Saw these growing in my tank ad was wondering what they are? They are no more than 1/4" tall

Looks like green hair algae to me.

the only thing is they are not only growing near green, they are all over the lower parts of my rock.

Look at the hitchhiker link in my signature. Possibly hydroids?

hydroids are definitely possible, is there anything that eats/kills them cause it seems some aren't reef safe

Never had them, so not sure how to get rid of them. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Sorry.
