Found this in my tank. My domino damsel seems to be guarding the area and won't leave but not sure what it is? Help

Bit of info:

It doesn't move
It's got layers like a sea shell where they are made up of parts
It's guarded by my domino damsel which is part of a pair and he won't leave the area

That's all I can say only just noticed it a couple of days ago

It's probably a vermetid snail. Google "Vermetid snail images", and see if that's close.
