Can someone help me with this? Its VERY soft in feeling and if you try and grab ahold of it, it slips through your fingers like fur...very weird. Is this bad? Since I have seen this crop up, I have also noticed very long strings of algea...some look just like hair and up to 3 ft long stringing from the wall...I pull them out but dont know if these are bad. Also phophates are 0 and have recently been adding CA and AK for 2 months now. CA at 320 and AK at 3-4. Tank is 2.5 years old. VHO lighting...660 watts
Look at the black arrow in the pic.

It's a type of micro algae. I can't remember what it's called. Similar to Mermaids hair.

Is it bad?? I assume not since its a micro??Just popped up since I started raising my CA and AK levels...

I don't have a lot of experience with it because my Pencil-Streaked Rabbitfish ate mine really quickly. I do not believe it spreads fast.
