Trickel tower?

Can I use a 5g tank to hold a trickle tower for a 40g fw tank w/ overflow? Thanks.

Anyone have any opinions on this? As I said it will be for a 40g tank. Idk everything involved with building one that's why I'm curious

I've Seen them , never Built one. I would think 5 gallon might be too small I'd start with 10 gallon min. I'm not an Expert so I would defer to others with more experience.

There is a Guy up in nova scotia who has a DIY site for all things Aquariums.....

He has a calculator for a sump so I'm not sure tho If that will work for a trickle tower
