This is my latest project. Ive had a dragon hmpk for a while now and he's been living in this little 2.5 gallon. At first i wanted to take an iwagumi approach to the scape but now i'm doing driftwood and sand. I made the stand with leftover planks from when my family got a fence, and the filtration is a 5 gallon bucket with a diy trickle filter that feeds down to a mag drive 250 pump (way bigger than is needed for a 2.5g) and I compensate for the extra pumping power by using it to my advantage: when the water gets to the top of the tank, it either goes into the tank or (most of it) goes back down to be re-filtered. The betta is waiting in another bucket until I put him in the tank over the weekend. I just want the java ferns to be rooted to the driftwood before he goes in there, he likes to swim through them.
