i just bought some anubias today and im gonna be introducein to tankk tomorrow but im wondering does it need to be attached to something to he happy and thrive

Sent from my Vortex using Aquarium

normally they will thrive when attached to a driftwood but it can be in the substrate as long as you will only bury the roots, not the rhizomes.

Daileene is right on. Just don't bury the rhizome. Attached to stone or driftwood works well, but so long as the rhizome is not under substrate, it grows equally well with the roots planted.
