I have a Finnex 24/7. I was keeping it on for the full day cycle, but it was really too much for my mostly low light tank. Now I'm switching to all LOW LIGHT plants... Anubias, Java Fern Trident, Water Wisteria and Narrow temple leaf.

The question I have is about lighting. I've been keeping it on "Cloudy" about 12 hours a day instead of the intense day light setting. It seems to be going well, but just wondered about other peoples experiences with something similar. My tank is 19" deep.

Has anyone reading this ever kept it on low light all day instead of bursts of high, or the regular day-cycle?

I have a low light setup with this light, and I keep it at 40% for 7 hours a day. As a result, I have minimal algae and have slow, but healthy, plant growth.

Edit: I do not have it on any special setting either--just dimmed to 40% for white, red, green, and blue.
