Hello all,

Last week I did a very large trim on my amazon swords. In the past I have noticed it before, but I could see it very clearly now. Some of the larger leaves that are overhanging the tank, have white-ish, chalk-like points on them... I'm thinking this are hard-water stains like you would find on the glass normally. Has anyone had this before? All of the newer leaves are perfectly fine, just the overhanging ones, closest to the light aren't.

Why I'm thinking these are hardwater stains? I have a lot of flow in this particular tank, I'm running two filter systems. So I guess that the leaves first grew out of the water and the started bending because of the flow.

This should not be a fert problem: i give roottabs, dose glut, iron, potassium and all around fert. (I know the liquid ferts don't affect the swords that much, it's primally for my other plants)

Thanks in advance!
