I have recently planted several plants: two hornworts (I think) and two anarchis plants. I was looking at one of my hornworts, and I had several questions.
1. Does it look ok? or is it slowly dying?
2. Do I need to add anything (soil, anchors, etc.)
3. Is it actually a hornwort, or is it another plant. (I was thinking it might be a Green Cabomba)
4. How do I propagate this? Do I just break off a piece?
:thanks:

Hornwort is actually a floating plant. It will not develop a root system. It can rot off if planted too deep. If it is still new to the tank it could just be acclimating still and will perk up in a few weeks.

A few bits on my aquarium. It is a twenty gallon tank, with a 30-gallon rated filter (does this mean I can stock more fish?). I purchased a Rangeri sword today. How do I plant this in my aquarium (it's in a store pot)

Definitely hornwort,I have 2 in my tank..what lighting are you using?
I am using a 17 watt 8,000K Full Spectrum lamp by Aqueon. Once it dies (the bulb, I mean) should I replace it with their Floramax bulb?
