Hey, so i set upy tank a little while ago and ive been letting it cycle with live plants and this little guy came over on one of them. I tried to remove him but i ended up pushing him into my substrate, never to see him again. Until now! Could anyone help me identify him? I like the shell and i think ill keep it as long as they dont breed out of control 20181224_201501.jpg20181224_201448.jpg

its a type of trumpet snail but i cant say which. most likely it is a malaysian trumpet snail. if it is a malaysian then they live mostly in your substrate. they are good because they will turn the substrate over and keep you from having anaerobic spots. they are prolific breeders but unlike ramshorn snails they will stay mostly in the substrate or just on top of it.
