How many of you run UV sterilizers in your planted tank?

I run a UV sterilizer. I see no affect on nutrients. I do know that flow rate will determine how effective it is at killing stuff.

I have a Coraltwist 9watt UV. It is hooked to the outflow line of one of my Fluval 303's. With the height that they have to push the water back up into my tank, the water should be going through there at about 120GPH. Which according to the directions for the UV light is just barely slow enough to kill algae. Which is good, I want to keep algae under control... but I want some growing in there for my fish and snails to snack on. A tough balance at best.

Thanks Zezmo, I rem. a thread a while back about UV's and there was a lot of differing views on the wattage/effectiveness.
