I added about 13 New plants to my 20 gallon long tank and its stopping my filters from working. I don't know what's happing but they seem to be clogging. It's like a thick slime that's extremely dark but it doesn't look smell or feel like algae. It's like a taffy sticky goo. I have never seen algae like it before. The tank is slowly starting to get foggy and I'm worrying. I'm looking for a larger tank now though. I have a yellow lab and a blue striped cichlid that are babies. They are both about 1'' now. Any help is thanked and appreciated.
