I don't know what type of plant this is. Any help is welcomed.

Could it be some sort of Bacopa? Maybe Bacopa australis?

Looks it too me, it wasn't labeled when I bought it but it looks great

It seems to grow fast to I got it last night and I swear it already has some new growth. If you don't already have it I'd get some water Wisteria too, awesome look and grows wicked fast.

Where is wisteria from? I'm making two biotope tanks, so it might not work.

Actually, that would be perfect for my 20 gallon! It's going to be an Indian biotope.

It's a great plant, grows in low light too if you aren't going high tech

Separate out the stems. Take off any weight or band. Plant stems so that the leaves are not quite touching, that will allow enough light down to the bottom of the stems so they don't get shaded out. You can keep trimming and replanting to make your patch look thicker.
