question about lighting

i got the 48'' 4x65w current lighting system
when i turn the 6500k i notice one bulb from each tube is brighter than the other is this normal,
i also notice the atinic lights or however u spell it lol, one bulb out of each tube is purple color while the other is blue is this normal?

Sounds to me like you have a dual daylight (10000K, 6700K) and Dual Actinic (460nm, 420nm), for those, it's perfectly normal.
