Rocks for aquarium usage

I bought rocks from an aquarium store and wanted to make sure it was okay. I dropped some vinegar on both and they did not bubble or fizz. I am soaking them in warm water now. Any other tips or are they ready to go in?

You should never boil rocks. They can literally explode, and send boiling water all over the place.
