Hey guys! So I've been fiddling with the idea of getting back into the aquarium scene for a while now. My biggest concern is that I will have to leave it unattended for a month a couple times a year as I travel.
I haven't actually bought anything yet as I want to do my research and build the tank accordingly.
I plan to have quite a few plants with mostly shrimp and a few smaller fish in a 23-40 L tank (5-10 Gallon roughly)

My question is if this even doable? If yes,are there any plants or any equipment you'd prefer over others?

Cheers, Jesper

You need to turn nitrate into plant, so with significant stocking levels you need a lot of plant growth in a small tank. Interested to hear answers...
